She is the older of the two. I love her so much!

The 2005 is on the left. The main difference is the newer one is made of a very hard, very mattel vinyl. The older one is softer vinyl and is a little thicker through the waist too.

Ok, your photo of GT26, with the sweater tied around her waist, did it. Adorable! Very fortunately for me, I already have that outfit; I bought it last spring. But if I didn't own it, I'd get it right now for sure. There are so few sweaters for the dolls and Kit's treehouse sweater is one of the cutest AG makes. It also looks great with jeans.

I love that outfit!! got it and is one of my favorites in Kit's collection! If AG retires this one, then it will be the 1st ever item of Kit's that is retired!!! Kit's collection has been strong since 2000, for six years now no article of her collection (outfit or accessory) has b een retired.

I think Kit is cute no matter what year she's from. I do see a bit of a difference between the new Kit and the old Kit though.
